UHHC SENIOR CLUB

Committed to Excellence

Here at Upper Hutt Hockey Club we pride ourselves on all our teams' excellent sportsmanship, team vibe, and good hockey.

We currently have six Senior teams representing Upper Hutt Hockey in the Wellington Hockey Association Open Grade Competition for the 2026 Season.

    We are also looking for EOI for a P4 Womens Team for the 2026 Season

Uniform:

Our colours are Maroon and Gold. Each player is provided a shirt by their team manager. 
Shorts for the Men and skorts for the Women are available to purchase for $55 through the Club. 
Socks can be purchased through the club for $25.

 

Senior Training Times:

Wednesday Nights, Maidstone Park

  • We expect our players to be ready to start training at the scheduled time, this includes a self warm up complete and gear ready.

Our Premier 3 and Reserve teams trainings are open to all players of our Club. We also open these trainings to local College students and anyone interested in playing Hockey. ​

Fees:

 Seniors/Open Grade                             $480

Tertiary/Apprentice                              $405

Secondary Player                                   $325

Casual* -  $60 registration fee / $30 per game

The fees cover the costs of:

  • the cost of using the turf for practices

  • affiliation fees to Wellington Hockey

  • Game Fees

  • uniforms and playing equipment (balls, goalie gear, training gear, first aid sets, ice etc)

​

 All players are required to pay a $100 registration fee (included in total fees) by 30 March 2026 to be eligible to play the 2026 season.
All casual players must pay their $60 registration fee at time of registration.

​

Fees are required to be paid in full by 31July 2026, or by a payment plan confirmed with the Treasurer.


Tertiary/Apprentice players are required to provide proof of enrollment.

Casual Players: If you play more than 8 games you are eligible to move to a Full Adult Subscription. To do so, please email the club Treasurer.


* A casual sub is usually for those players who work shift work or have other regular commitments on their team playing day.
